I've struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts myself. It really annoys me to see people ridicule it because that makes people not only take it less seriously, but label us as "attention seekers." It's bullshit and really needs to stop.

She can just get over it. I'm using a phone that I didn't really want but got because it was free (ironically it's an iPhone and I wanted another Samsung-my S3 bit the dust). It has not killed me to have the wrong phone. It won't kill her either.
