Today, my two sons were fighting. I had to shout, "Give me that pillow" - the object over which they were quarrelling - and put them into two separate rooms. My sons are 12 and 15. FML

Today, I was visiting my in-laws and sharing a room with my husband's 17-year-old sister. Later that night she and her brother of 24 years started fist-fighting over an air mattress and I had to pull them off each other. The brother later berated me with, "You can't handle any pressure!" FML

Today, I told both my boyfriend and my son that they needed to start spending more time together. They both asked why and what they did that I feel the need to punish them. They’re so similar, even I forget they’re not father and son, and yet for some reason they hate each other. FML

Today, after I broke up yet another fight between my sons, I demanded to know why they hate each other and fight all the time. After some blank looks they said, almost in unison, “It is the way” and wouldn’t explain what they meant. Even the internet isn’t being helpful here. Help. FML

Today, my sons are such idiots that they had a blazing punch-up that put both of them in hospital, all because one of them stole the last cigarette from a packet. Never mind they both have their own cigarettes, but for some reason the theft of this one cigarette was the last straw that lead to a punch up. FML

I didn't have any siblings growing up, so we had to hire somebody for me to fight over pillows with. It was so awkward.

Doesn't surprise me. mine are only 9&10. But I have no doubt I will be experiencing something similar in our future... smh Siblings are nuts. boys (God love em) are dumb. is what it is. batten the hatches it's gonna be a bumpy ride! They are fun though!....when they aren't fighting....

Ok boys yes will fight and one will always need to prove their dominance however, wolves fight, lion's fight, hyena's fight for dominance but I believe she gave birth to humans. My son's would have one time to say they are fighting for dominance then they'd find themselves in the dogs running cage outside.
