Well you can use your backpack on the fantastic holidays you will be able to afford now :) I don't see how this is an FML to be honest. You're married, shouldn't you share your incomes? I make more money than my husband and also get generous commissions. I consider that our money, not mine or his.
I also hope he's happy for her vs jealous. Even in today's world, there are still plenty of husbands that get treated if their wife makes more money than they do. (If this is the case)
youre married.. its as good as your money :P
what's your job by the way...
Come on people who doesn't know how a marriage works. He is emasculated, shouldn't be but is. Plus what's her's is her's and what his is her's lol. Just be grateful you have a job and happy your wife can take you out for a nice dinner :)
if you have a good relationship then it should be "Our" bonus if not then get a divorce and take half
You got bonus at work?
It's a marriage not a competition. Even if you got 10,000 that does not shine a light on 150,000. Be proud of her and her hard work. If she were my wife I'd take her out to celebrate.
"Sooooooo, $15,000? I guess you need me now more than ever, since I have an awesome new backpack to carry your stacks of cash in."
you should be proud of your wife she worked hard for that backup
