Today, my wife's pregnancy hormones got so bad that she freaked out and threw a tantrum, accusing me of always making important decisions for her. All I did was get her some food from Taco Bell as a surprise. FML

These events are quite unfortunate.. Hormones are definitely hard to deal with on either side, so just try to have an understanding attitude, OP. And for future reference, if you back off and try to avoid confrontation, act sweet, and present gifts of small chocolates, the beast will be appeased.
