Today, on a nature hike, covered in poison oak rashes from the day before, I accidentally stepped on a hornets' nest. I'm now covered in hornet stings and I can't scratch the poison oak because I might accidentally touch the stings. FML

Hey there! OP here. I am completely alive and well although I have developed a hatred for hornets. On the plus side, I did get a pretty badass nickname! - Hornet Bait (RHChiliPeppers)

Scratching is the worst thing you can do. You need antihistamines and pain relief. And if you have a cold pack to apply to the worst affected areas, do that too.

You have to have some knowledge, as to what's in the great outdoors, so you don't get hurt. You obviously have none. Stick to a treadmill at a gym.

Nature. Beautiful ******* nature.

you shouldn't scratch the poison oak in the first place. so maybe the stings are a blessing? maybe?...

get some chewing tobacco and apply to the stings will help with easing the burning and the stings will be easier to remove

Well. That could be good, scratching poison oak causes scars. I know because of have a few from specifically that. Haha Good luck OP

Get in a pool with chlorine in it and thatll get rid of the stuff on your skin that causes the rash.

And then spread the poison oak to everyone else who gets in the pool. That stuff is vicious.

From one fan to another: I'm sorry, listen to some chilis and feel better soon!

Well you shouldn't be scratching any sort of rash anyway, but especially poison oak! Get some aloe or similar lotion and stop touching it! Also maybe next time watch out for nests? Those things are the devil.
