Today, one of my boyfriend's friends ranted on about how I am such a crappy girlfriend and how all of his friends don't like me. I just spent over $200 on a surprise party that I invited them all to last weekend. FML

Today, I was on Facebook looking at pictures of my boyfriend, who was in his friend's wedding this past weekend. He said that none of the girlfriends could come because it would cost too much for the couple. I spent the weekend alone, and all his friend's girlfriends are in the pictures. FML

Today, I got together a surprise party for my mom's birthday. I invited all her friends and her douchebag boyfriend who I don't get along with. When my mom got home, he took credit and got her friends to back him up with bribing. My mom said I'm selfish and horrible for not trying for her. FML

Today I found out my husband was throwing a 50th surprise party for me, and no one RSVP'd because of my best friend starting arguing with everyone in a group text. This was going to be the first big party or surprise party that I'd ever had. FML

It's funny how nobody here seems to understand the FML. OP, it are just his friends. Very disrepectful friends, but still, his friends. You don't need to hang out with them and have a jolly good time. Just ignore them. The only thing I hope for is that your boyfriend defends you.

Is he complaining to his friends and saying those things? If you're boyfriend loves you and respects you, he will tell his friends to back down. And if you can why not cancel the party.. Hoping you can still get a refund and just spend that money on something nice for you and your boyfriend to do?

Throwing a party doesn't make you a good gf. It's one incident. What are you like every other day? I've learned that people who keep a running tab of all they've done or spent tend not to be kind people. Whether or not you're a bitch, your bf should defend you. His friends don't have to like you but everyone should respect your relationship.
