Today, several family members, including my mum, deleted me from Facebook in a concerted show of contempt. Apparently, I just can't shut up about World of Warcraft. FML

yea i figured you playedd, and illmatic hopefully they dont get obsessed and stay normal, and personally i dont care much for games, on rare occasions ill play xbox, but id rather go to the gym, beach, clubs, parties, or w.e and socialize in real life

Yeah, same. I don't understand how people can stay inside all day and play Xbox, or world of warcraft, or whatever. :/ Playing video games doesn't mean you have no life, unless you get addicted. I know guys that are like 30 who sit in their mothers' basements and play that crap all day. They need to go outside. :/ Seriously....

Of course you guys don't understand that kind of stuff, because you're not used to doing those things on a regular basis. To some people playing games is their way of blowing off steam, and in some ways even making new friends. It doesn't make you a better person just because you actually go out and socialize. Also, why is it such a big deal to you guys that some people who you don't even know "waste" their time or lives playing video games?

Zenti, it may have something to do with the fact that I want people to be contributing members of society rather than utter wastes of skin. Instead of spending hours and hours playing video games, you could be volunteering at a homeless shelter, baking cookies for wounded veterans, knitting a blanket for an orphan, or doing something else that isn't a complete waste of time. I understand blowing off steam, but I'm referring to the basement hermits that eat Doritos and Red Bull while doing raids all day.

Yes, could be doing all these things, but in the end it's their decision if they really want to spend all their free time playing games. If these are people that we don't even know, then who cares? Out of sight, out of mind. I just get annoyed when someone acts like they're the better person just because they don't play video games, or spend as long playing them as other people.

this is just my opinion but I think world of warcraft is REALY nerdy, like runescape but it's even worse if your an adult and you play those games : /
