Today, some obnoxious guys started calling me ugly. I tried to ignore them and be the bigger person. That's pretty hard to do when they start throwing rocks at you. FML

Today, I was called ugly and viciously ridiculed by a couple of teenage girls. They were wearing uggs and vests that made them look like a freak-show of bleached pomeranians. FML

Today, my friends thought it would be a good idea to make fun of a homeless man. I didn't fancy making fun of the less fortunate, so I stayed a bit back. Still, the homeless man didn't think it would matter to throw a rock at me after my buddies ran away. FML

Today, my neighbor's sons decided it would be funny to throw rocks at my house. I went outside to scold them and saw my other neighbors gathered around, watching. They didn't stop them because they thought I wasn't home. FML

Today, I walked past a group of men on my way to work. Instead of catcalling me, they made pig and whale noises at me, and yelled fat shaming comments. By the time I'd reached my building, I had been reduced to tears. FML

Today, I was stumbling down the street due to arthritic pain, when I accidentally bumped into a man. He turned and yelled, "Watch it, you clumsy, ugly bitch", to which I apologised and told him about my arthritis. He stared at me in confusion, then said, "Well, you're still ugly", and walked off. in response to #69 (FML is doing something retarded with the comments again when you "reply to") I agree that the cutting phenomenon, for some people does need to stop, those people being immature school kids who don't realize that people who actually have a problem with self-mutilation actually are sick and go to great length to hide it and that for some people it even becomes addicting because of the chemicals it releases in the brain. (which,did you know is the same group of chemicals that gets released every time a heroin addict shoots up? hence why they are now treating self-mutilation with opiate blockers) and that these people have a bona-fide problem and need therapy and support to stop. But please don't lump those people in with the fakes, I used to be one of those people and it took me almost 10 years to stop hurting myself. People afflicted by self-mutilation need to be recongnized as having an illness and not just as "gross" or "crazy". people who act like cutting is cool and do it for social shock value are the gross and crazy ones.
