Today, some thieves broke into my church and stole our cameras, monitors, and some other hardware. We were planning to use them for the security system we were about to install. FML

I can't speak for the finances of every church, but at my church we are not flush with cash in the way a mega church might be. We are called to be stewards of the property God had given us and to this end, we asked people to dig deep that we could fill the need that was evident. Sadly, after the sacrifices that were made, we can't help but be hurt. Still, Christians are versed in hardship and overcoming adversity. We will pray for the thief, ask healing for the church, and seek blessings to continue to meet the needs of the community.

What would be worth stealing from a church? Do they keep the alms in the church or does one of the priests take them home?

Pray to get it back. That only has a statistical 0.01% chance to work but I guess it's worth a shot! But why do you need security cameras anyway? Doesn't gawd see everything? I mean, it sees when I **********,right?

People are just jerks. They graffiti my church fairly regularly. And have broken in to steal things. So sad.

somebody once broke into my church and sprayed our fire extinguishers all over the sanctuary, and people had to volunteer their weekend to clean it up. just because we are christians, doesnt mean we arent people with lives and feelings. please be considerate
