Today, sun was shining and I felt confident enough to go sunbathing at the beach. In only my bikini and towel, I laid out to get some sun. A while later, a little girl came up to me and said, "Aren't you embarrassed that you're so huge?" FML

You really have to toughten up, especially living in California! My philosophy is you ought to love yourself the way you are and be comfortable and confident with your body. And if there is something you don't particularly enjoy about yourself - well work on it! I myself am on the chubby side, and it was, being completly honest, the result of my bad choises in nutrition and my general lazyness. But now I'm finally made a decision on loosing weight and I already lost a 2 sizes. So yes, I still not where I want me to be, but the world can **** off because I'm feeling fabulous!

don't worry OP, I'm a bigger girl too and if a kid said that to me I would just be like that's your opinion!(: You may not be a model body type, but in someone's eyes your beautiful! Before anyone starts bashin on me for "encouraging obesity" I'm not encouraging it. OP probably isn't obese, the FML never said she was. And even if she is, so what? America IS an obese country. She looks like an American! (:

So what if she is fat? It's a free country and this just shows that kids are not being raised the right way. Little kids should never thinks it's ok to tell someone that they are too fat... Op if u are confident do what u feel comfortable with nothing wrong with not being super skinny
