PANTLESS WEEK!!!!!

I don't understand all these "stuck home without _ in snowstorm" posts. Even here in Virgina they've been talking about the nasty storms heading for the Midwest for several days. It's not a freak storm, you should have been prepared. Even if you somehow managed to miss all the weather reports, you still had time when the storm started to go out and get supplies before the stores and roads were closed. On top of that, why would you let yourself get that low on toilet paper and period supplies in the first place? You're not magically going to stop menstruating or using the bathroom. These are things you should always have on hand, no matter the circumstances.

Ok, I know it's gross, but use clean socks...they last a long time, and absorb really well. If you're not unfortunate enough to be out of detergent as well, you can wash with bleach and re-use them. I feel for you, it sucks...Also, if you have a female neighbor that you know, it might be embarrassing, but it never hurts to ask them for some pads :)
