You are correct my friend... True love shouldn't be confined to a day just so people can pretend for a day that that really give a shit about each other... Business had also greatly used this day to drag in major amounts of cash making the whole day a total joke imo... Christmas and other holidays have similar issues

I just read this as "I'm single. FML." I don't think it's really customary to -wish your friends- a happy Valentine's Day. :S Even not getting wished a Merry Christmas wouldn't be all bad, IMHO. Now your birthday, on the other hand…

Yeah, I had to buy a book at my college today. They were giving out free carnations. I didn't know what the **** they were, so when they asked me if I wanted one, I was like, "What in tarnation is a carnation?". They told me it was a flower. I still said no since I had no one to give it to. Lonely as ever lol.
