Today, the satellite radio at work went on the fritz, playing one song over and over. Management wouldn't turn it off, though, because then customers would miss out on all those upcoming-sale announcements that run intermittently. Meanwhile, I got to listen to "Footloose" for eight hours. FML

If I was a customer I wouldn't have stayed in your store long enough to hear the sales announcement... After about the third time it played I would have finished my shopping another day.

I love how everyone is saying "could have been worse." OP had it bad. I'm pretty sure it would be torture if you had to listen to your favorite song for EIGHT hours.

That definitely sucks that it apparently happened right when you got to work, since you said that you had to listen to the song for eight hours straight. How unfortunate. I do think we have the same satelite radio station playing daily at our job, too, because I hear that song on it once a day.
