I don't understand why anyone allows their parent to shove around their spouse. I love my parents but they were assigned by nature I chose my partner and. No one not even my mother is going to be intrusive or rude to him. Tell your spouse to have your back or find a job in another city!

That's what I was thinking. My mother in law drives me insane, yeah, but when she attempts to be rude to me or talk bad about me at all, my husband jumps in and defends me or tells her to lay off.

im actually surprised at the amount of people telling op to kill his mother in law, instead of faking his own death. Did you ever think it might be easier, if you tell her what it is that she does that upsets you, or tell her not to come to your house until she can behave like an adult .
