number 10, I bet you'd think it was weird if it was a shirt showing that the perosn was straight and "are everywhere"... No matter what it is sorta weird to advertise your sexuality on a shirt. Anyway, it was just a slip of the toung don't worry I'm sure they get it and will just laugh a bout it latter.
And, at #11 and #26: That's because you don't have to deal with inequality. You can get married and you can't get fired from your job for your sexuality, you don't have to worry about people beating you up on the street, you don't have to watch what countries you can and cannot travel to with your significant other for fear of violence. Until you've walked down the street holding hands with your significant other and been called "fag" maliciously by people by, don't bitch about people trying to show pride when they don't have the same rights you have. :|.
that makes me want to cry. i'm gay too. and i live in the south ):
that's sad lesbians r awesome...
oh well, as long as you were nice, then they probably could have determined you as socially awkward.
@32 it's not pride it's being retarded, by your definition anyone that was beat up in school to have their lunch money taken should walk around with shirts that flaunting they new found lunch money status and do so in the most rediculous ways possible. You don't have to be homosexual to experience any of the things that you try to make points on you just have to be different in some way that bothers someone could be hair, clothes, speech impediment, etc... In the U.S. any of the minorities tend to have more rights than the majority, with the exception of marriage which is being worked on by many of the states and has been approved in a few.
I think that's actually hilarious. They probably didn't think anything of it. I would have laughed had it been me. Also, flaunting homosexuality is done because society will automatically assume you're straight unless you give them reason to think otherwise. Also, many people do wear ***** flaunting their heterosexuality, both males and females wear shirts with statements that clearly indicate their sexuality, and no one harasses them.
that's not true, straight people who flaunt it are just called ****** and pigs
I'm with #23, the people who moan and bitch about the people who post "FIRST" are even more annoying than the first posters themselves. It's just one post, your useless whining isn't going to change anything, so get over it. OP: Meh, it was an understandable slip-up. Hopefully they were nice about it.
but now u have complained about the complaining
I'm amused by your slip-up, i doubt they were offended that much so it's not really an fml, but certainly an amusing story. YDI, but still...common enough slip-up.

You wear a shirt that says that, you can't be offended by "Hey, gays!". It's a little funny. A little. :)
I live in SoCal - we refer to everyone here as "you guys". Just like in the south more than one person is "y'all". Guys doesn't always mean "male".
