Why would you walk through a thunderstorm anyway? I know you wanted to be on time but you should have called them first to make sure.
Why on earth would you walk through rain for a professional interview? I mean, kudos for determination, but I don't think your potential boss would have been impressed once you showed up sopping wet and dripping everywhere.
Raincoat. Most people are smart enough to put a decent one on. Also, maybe he brought his interview clothes with him in some waterproof bag. Plenty of time to change if you get there early enough.
Hopefully you will be hired on the spot tomorrow op. maybe you could be the manager since he didn't bother to show up. I see you climbing that corporate ladder quickly, way to go op!
Nice of them to call you.
Wow, that's not a very professional person! Might be best you find somewhere else!

there's no bus? subway? train? taxi? couldn't call first? they couldn't call you? not to mention the manager couldn't find a mode of transportation because of the rain? "wet" the heck is up with that?
And that's why you always call to confirm, especially when it's an hour walk. Lesson learned, I hope.
