Today, was my high school's senior awards ceremony. Over 400 people were crammed in the hot auditorium. I won five awards and each time I was called up the laughter grew louder. Apparently even the back row could see my pit stains. FML

For ****'s sake. Some people just sweat a lot. That's all. It doesn't mean they don't wear deodorant, it doesn't mean they don't wear anti-perspirant, it doesn't mean they buy cheap versions of the aforementioned toiletries, it just means they got unlucky with the genes and sweat a lot more than other people. Grow up and accept that not everyone's body is the same, you silly people.

awe damn dude that sucks. i sweat like that a lot too.. nervous tick. i just wear a lot of black and white shirts to cover it up. makes life kinda simple..everything matches!!

we don't live in the 80s and eay 90s anymore. pit stains ain't cool. wear deodorant (most are also anti persperiants as well) and your problem is solved. ydi for knowing it was going to be hot (it's summer) and knowing it was going to be a large audience. for someone who won 5 awards you don't seem to have much common knowledge.

I completely sympathize. My body has absolutely no temperature control - I freeze in the winter, and I sweat buckets in the summer. I also suffer from those horrid pit stains that ruin shirts. Not only is it gross as hell, but a lot of people are immature about it. Most people commenting so far have it pretty easy since regular deodorants/antiperspirants work for them. You should try Certain Dri - that stuff really works. Secret Flawless also works because it's got a higher amount of aluminum (active antiperspirant). I've tried the Dove clinical too, but I don't think it works as well.

try axe dry. i'm a chick but so far thats all thats worked for me. i've had the same problem, and it really does suck. even when i put antiperspirant on i still sweat like crazy.

aw, don't worry about it. you're graduating, it's finally summer, and you got 5 awards! so a few people who you never have to see again if you don't feel like it laughed about something completely normal. positives totally outweigh the negatives! (and dunno if maybe you just forgot antiperspirant or didn't apply much, but i've found secret platinum/flawless makes me sweat more! just regular lady speed stick works for me really well. i have no idea why, but you might could try that :] )
