I'm sure she's just nervous and clearly has very little idea about sex... sounds like her parents told her it was a scary bad thing and left it at that.

Weird folks... They spend tons of time checking out new shoes and trying on clothing to last them a couple of years tops and yet they think they will magically find "the one" for the rest of their lives by picking at random. I wish you luck at it but I am not too optimistic.
