take a hint? probably that stuck up teacher everyone hates
Even a strict, demanding teacher would get cheered for - if they were a good teacher. Its only teachers who don't care about the students who wouldn't. I only had one bad teacher in high school. She was strict, demanding, and even told us she wasn't going to teach us anything that would help us in college because that wouldn't benefit her - she is the only we had who wouldn't have been clapped for at an event like this. I had many hard, strict teachers whose classes were difficult, painful, and sometimes required hours of study outside of class only to have the highest grade earned by anyone be a C - they were taught by respected teachers who wanted us to learn and put forth effort.
Wow.....that sucks...
#48 has it. You must have done something. To not even get a pity clap is saying something.

Hard teachers are usually the ones that teach life lessons... I know mine were.
YDI for being a bad teacher. FYL for having dumb children. Either one works.
