After #60 and #74... be careful because nicknames are very dangerous in the wrong hands, especially when they get leaked. and if your teacher is that stupid, they would probably also be nasty when creating one so take it as a blessing in disguise, live with the consequences. it's not worth the lifelong hassle, honestly it isnt.

I know how you feel, my real name is a Dutch/Greek hybrid made up by my parents (yes, they are ridiculous with names), and teachers really struggle with pronounciation. At least you didn't get called on all the time. I had this one teacher who was terribly lazy with names and only remembered mine because in the first 2 months I had to correct him every time he took registration. For 3 long years every single question he asked he'd ignore people who's hands were up and go straight to me.

I have the same problem. My name is Tea. pronounced like tee, but for some reason everone always pronounces it like Tia. :/

That's one of the reasons parents should stop giving their children such crazy names.
