Should have googled it ahead of time.
You deserve it purely on the fact that you own a Star Wars shirt, and figured it was ok to wear in public...no matter what kind of restaurant
Okay, yes, OP wasn't smart for not looking up the restaurant but for all of you who clearly don't work in offices and want to make snotty remarks about the clothes they chose. OP would have made a very laid back, fun person impression. I work in a office and everyone likes to joke around and literally, Star Wars is a popular thing.
You really don't know what 'dress to impress' means
This is why you google the restaurant and call them to find out the dress code. Star Wars can be fancy but only if you are wearing a tie with it
star wars t-shirt is freaking hot and all but you should have known better
Im sry but how old are you?
Keywords
You should of research / google the restaurant before going, or asked someone if it was casual or business casual dress.
Star wars is fancy. So I don't see the problem.
