Herbal remedies have been around for thousands of years but I guess they're bad too since doctors don't prescribe them. Several prescription drugs are simply lab created from plants in order to concentrate the beneficial compounds they contain. I don't need a doctor to tell me that penicillin will help with an infection, or that ibuprofen will help a headache; and I have several friends who know how to make their own mixtures from plants containing the same compounds that are in those drugs, but used with a more natural delivery method. With your logic I suppose the self sufficiency of me and my friends should be demonized as well?
