Because I won't let anyone drive drunk, no matter who it is. And it's cheaper to drive them home as opposed to paying for a taxi.

Wow OP, maybe you're just a better man than me, but there was no reason for you to take the other guy. Either leave them both or only take her. And even if you're only taking her, make sure your efforts go only as far as basic human decency would take you; you don't owe any favors to someone willing to so blatantly disregard your feelings and treat you like that.
Just kind of curious as to how your "ex" would drive herself home? You didn't specify as to if you drove her there or met her there....the best thing to do would have just called the police, give them her name & plate # & save your $, your dignity, lives & all the hassle you're getting here...all @ the same time. :)

Ill never understand how people can get so sloppy when drinking. I hope your ***** of an ex and boy toy feel horrible for their behavior. Idk how you drove them home, I would've walked away, not my problem. And if they got in a car to drive, then i wouldve called 911...

you all are trashing on OP because he drove them home instead of letting them drive. I know for a fact most drunk people will not care for a taxi and will attempt to drive home, so if he were to put them in a cab he would have to pay. so saving himself the cash he drove them instead of letting them drive and potentially getting them both killed. OPs a pretty good guy for doing that and his EX obviously didn't deserve him.
