Today, when I dropped my 6-year-old daughter off at school, a little boy ran up to her so I asked his name. My daughter explained: "Oh, don't pay any attention to him, he's my slave. He's come to carry my bag. See you later, mom!" FML

I know this isn't the reply you wanted but honestly it's probably not such a big issue. Me and my siblings used to play at "slaves" quite frequently. We'd play games that involved forfeits and sometimes a possible forfeit was "you have to be my slave for the day". Basically it just meant bringing them food, doing their chores, carrying their stuff, etc. It *sounds* messed up when you put it into words but in reality it was no big deal, it was just a game. And, judging by some of the other comments, not a particularly unusual game. I agree that OP should ask their daughter about it to make sure that everything's okay and that it's just a game but I think it's more likely that you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

Well if he's African American then it's really bad

Doesn't matter if he was or not; no one should be treated in such a way. It straight up wrong!

You need to have a serious talk with her. No one should be allowed to treat others in such a way; especially at a young age. Sorry to say but you're raising her wrong.

You wouldn't be if it was your kid or sibling.

I hope the little boy wasn't black.

You really need to teach your daughter some respect for other people

That's dominance right there. At least you won't have to worry about anyone pushing her around.

If the genders were reversed, the child would be called a "sexist pig". However, since the OP's child is a girl, she's simply a "cute little diva". Really, she's just a little bitch.

I agree, if the genders were reversed people would be crying and screaming that OP shouldn't let their son treat a girl like that.

Oh no one would be calling a 6 year old kid a "sexist pig". Anyone who thinks that this is a big issue is overreacting. It's clearly just a game (a game that's actually quite common). It has nothing to do with gender.
