Let's imagine the roles were reversed: "Today, when I got home from work I was pretty "in the mood" so I put on some nice underwear and went to get my girlfriend's attention. She was so into her new computer game all I got was a half smile and a pat on the head. FML" If it had been published, which I highly doubt, there would be absolute outrage in the comments. People are not vending machines. You don't pay in kindness or attractiveness and expect sex out of that and act like they're being selfish when they don't give it.

Woman say no all the time, why is it so bad when a man says no. But he could have possibly left the head pat out.

The annoying part in the situation isnt because he doesn't want have sex, ppl in a relationship aren't always gonna be in the mood at the same time..I thought it was pretty clear that the OP just wanted attention from him since they were obviously hanging out...if you are hanging out with your gf/BF it means you should be spending time togetherrrrrrrr not ignoring them to do things such as videos games when you can do that on your own time...unless of course she wanted to play as well but clearly she wasn't playing and he just was and she wanted to actually spend timeeee with him and it seemed like she thought the best way to try to get his attention so they could actually be together was sex...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...regardless it would be like if a couple was spending time together and the girl completely ignored her BF while doing something she was interested in but didn't interest him..either way when you're with someone and you're trying to spend time together you should be doing that...you can do your own interest at your own time or if both is okay with it let him do his thing while she does her own thing but clearly she wanted to not just watch him Play his video game while hanging out and wanted to actually spend time with him...and like others said i think a pat on the head is kind of condescending but I don't think he did it purposeful in that way but he should learn that by just saying like hold on give me 20 min or somethin, would have made it a lot better as well...either way I think OP was just annoyed in all of the situation by not spending time with him as much as she'd like but I'm sure it wasn't anything that was probably made into anything bigger
