I'm just over 100 pounds and I've broken scales before, just from over-use or something. Most scales are pieces of crap and break easily. Unless you are really fat (which you don't need a scale to tell you, just look in the mirror,) I wouldn't let it get you down OP.

do you check your weight every 12 seconds? if yes then that makes sense, but if not then i dont see how you could break multiple scales, as most of us never break even 1.
