Today, while at the Golden Gate Bridge, I spotted a large group of Asians trying to take a picture. Trying to help, I slowly say, "You... want me... take picture?" while using hand motions. The man looks at me and says, "No thanks asshole, I got it," in plain English. FML

Typical dumb american...not a surprise

1) I'm asian, **** you 2) Even so, if others can't talk you should still speak right, after all, when I associate with people with less than perfect English I make sure to talk the best I can - it helps them learn if they listen to people speak perfect English 3) Either way, you're an asshole and deserve it 100%

Okay, so he was stupid. To everyone one here saying "typical American blah blah", shut up. If he's dumb for stereotyping Asians, you're also dumb for stereotyping Americans.

Wow, what an asswipe. Seriously. I'm 2nd generation Chinese-American from SFO...and the only language I speak fluently enough is English. What makes you think he wasn't showing some friends from 'out of state' around? Dayum man, what a douche. And poster #334....please define 'American" as far as world history goes, there's no true "American" race apart from the initial inhabitants of our kick-@ss continent...as far as I know, your so-called White Americans were rejects from their own country. Your right to be here is just as much as ours.

Way to immediately butt in on a situation and talk down to people. "Need some help?" is something everyone understands.

These comments really open your eyes to the stupidity on the internet. You reacted the best you knew how and your intentions were good, thats all that matters! Even If your approach wasn't perfect you tried to help a stranger, which was alot more helpful than the majority of these immature comments. Remember, miserable comments = miserable life! o_O

Haha wow. I really don't mean to make you feel any dumber than you probably already do, but do you have any idea how many Asians live in California. I'm Chinese and I hate when people talk to me all slow but like the reaction I get when I respond to the effect of "Thaaaaaat's okayyyyy. I speeeeakee Engliiiiiiiiish, duuuumbfuuuuuck!" I also hate when people walk by an say "Ni hao, ma." I don't speak that dialect, goddammit! Anyway, smart move. Never do that again. You're lucky I wasn't the one taking pictures. You really would've felt dumb. Better luck next time

You're the reason the world hates us. Thanks for ******* our country over. PS, Watch Henry Cho, he's a comedian from Knoxville, TN who was born to Korean parents (this story reminded me of one of his sketches). He's funny as hell

i created an account. just to say how much this made me laugh.
