Today, while at the park, my 3 year-old ran up to a lady, grabbed her chest and loudly asked, "Are these your breasts? Are they private on you too?" FML

I'm surprised how many people find it cute...if I was the woman being groped by some strangers child I wouldn't find it cute. It's understandable, things happen, I wouldn't super-blame the parent...but I would not find it cute. I'd be more "get this thing off me" than "awww how precious."

It's okay, 31, its not like that "thing"'s brain is not fully developed or anything so that it can fully comprehend its actions

I actually am aware of what children are. I just don't find their actions automatically endearing. Lots of things can't be helped or are natural, that doesn't make me love them automatically either. Like most people don't find it adorable if a monkey throws crap at them.

I know exactly what you mean, he's just a kid so you can't exactly get mad or blame him for not knowing better but I would definitely not find it cute. I'd probably be embarrassed and kind of annoyed lol no kids for me

Hopefully you made your child apologize.

Parents need to keep their twatty kids away from other people. It is NOT cute. Tell your asshole kids that molesting other people is wrong. Saying awwwww that is cute makes them think it is ok at an early age.

It's a 3 year old. Yes, they need to be taught better and I bet he was considering it was obviously started by him being told breasts were a private part. They were in a park, you know where kids play and shit? If you don't want to be around kids, go to places where only adults are allowed. And it's disgusting to imply he was molesting the woman, he has no sexual thought in his mind. He was asking a question, that was it. Don't try to twist it like he was just trying to grope a woman, that's not how 3 year olds work.

I don't go where kids play. It also does not matter if he was trying to grope her or not. People need to keep their kids away from other people and not let them touch them. Maybe that woman was at the park with her kids and that is why she was there.

Then she should understand. Once again: it's where kids are. You are going to come into contact with kids. Unless you are holding their hand of have them on a leash the kids going to get away from you at least a few times. Yes it's unfortunate that this happened, but it gives the chance for him to learn yes all breasts are private so he won't do so anymore.

Wow, really? You went to molesting? He's a child. A curious child. I'm sure he was curious and the mom was mortified. People like you are awful. I have a 10 month old son and while I'll do my best to teach him to behave properly I wouldn't be surprised if he invades someone else's personal space.

Yeah, I am so awful because I don't believe children should be entitled to do whatever they want when they want. I am sick of parents thinking their kids can get away with doing anything and thinking its cute. I am sick of parents thinking people are awful because they don't want their children touching them. This is not just a case of a kid invading a person's bubble. The kid was touching them. Just because it is a kid does not mean they are entitled to do whatever the **** they want.

Where do we say they are entitled to do so? Once again, it was wrong and should be taught as much. But if you are around young kids, it's unavoidable. Personal space and boundaries are taught. Op is apparently in the middle of teaching the child, aka the child asking if the woman's breasts were private too.

Take the stick out of your ass #49. Have kids and then try to control every little aspect of their actions, 24/7. Parents do their best. This was a teachable moment that I'm sure was used as such since the kid clearly was being taught about those parts being private. Chill out with calling children assholes because the only asshole here is you.

You're not awful because you don't think children should get free reign - you're awful because you just accused a child, who can't comprehend the sexual nature of the act (because breasts are for feeding not for your own damn sexual pleasure), of a serious sexual offence! You're also just plain stupid for thinking any human has control over anything but themselves, also for thinking that parents are just proud of their children's behaviour all the time. I hope all the kids who grow up to be doctors 'stay away from you' when you need their help

It's a three-year-old, you fool. You try teaching a small child not to do something and see how well it works the first several times. It's not about them "getting away with" things, it's about them literally not being developed enough mentally to truly understand what it is they're doing.

if that happened in my family this would be the following few seconds. child gets grabbed by the arm and ripped from the other woman. Guardian would apologize profusely and then off to get a "talking to" they'd go.
