Not every girl belongs in a two piece its the truth. The guy should of just kept his thoughts to himself no need to be so blunt about it

Belongs? So only women with "perfect" bodies deserve to wear two piece swimwear? Any woman can wear what ever the Hell she wants, regardless of her body type. YOU don't get a say in who "belongs" in a two piece. The woman wearing it decides whether she is comfortable. Stop being so sexist. All women are perfect.

jad0016 12

See you just took what I said and twisted it into something its not. I'm not telling anybody if they belong in a two peice or not. Everyone has an opinion sooo who are you to tell me who I think looks good in a two peice? Oh and I'm not sexist how dare you accuse me of such when u don't know me.

You know number 12 I must admit I thought your comment was going to be incredibly "douchy", mostly because of your profile pick but, I was wrong I can't agree with you more please forgive me.

jad0016 12

haha all is forgiven first appearances aren't always a good judge of character

I have to agree with 19. If a woman feels comfortable enough to wear a two-piece she should, regardless of whether anyone thinks she belongs in it. Accusations and whatever set aside, I don't get why she got down-voted so much, she did have a point. I'm probably going to get down-voted too, but oh well.

jad0016 12

She got down voted so much because her comment was rude and ignorant. There is a much nicer way of stating her point.

You're right #12. Just like how some men shouldn't take pictures of themselves with their shirts off. Because muscular or not, it really just means douche who's full of himself.

sandyleaann 4

Wow, girls act like they are the only ones getting judged. women judge men's appearances all the time. I don't want to see some obese guy in a Speedo, so why should all guys want to see over weight girls in a two piece? That doesn't take their right to wear whatever they want away. But not everyone has to be okay with it or think it's attractive. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on what is attractive. Get over it.

The feminism is becoming rampant over here

askullnamedbilly 33

Having an opinion is not the problem. Walking up to a complete stranger to make comments about a topic that's known to be a sensitive issue for a LOT of people is. You can be privately grateful that the unattractive guy at the beach chose to wear a T-shirt and shorts instead of a speedo all you want, but actually telling him how glad you are that you don't have to look at his body is a major dick move.

sandyleaann 4

#93 I was referring to the replies to #12. The guy in the fml was definitely rude and obnoxious. I should have specified what I was referring to, my bad. I agree with you, people don't need to be rude about what others wear.

#77, damnit, there goes my summer. I might not be old, but I'm fat and I love my speedos and banana hammocks!

#12, yes, it's true, not every woman should wear a skimpy bikini. I hope guys will keep this in mind and realize that not every guy should wear a Speedo--check that, no man should wear a banana hammock--not every guy should wear a skimpy swimsuit either. However, only a total jerk will go up to a stranger and thank that person for wearing a more modest suit. I wouldn't be surprised if the schmuck who went up to OP and insulted her was some obese guy in a skimpy suit.

koolaidman247 3

"All women are perfect" ahahahaha what an arrogant, sexist, and untrue comment. Double standards ftw

Some people should never be allowed to open the mouth in public. They just don't qualify to talk with strangers.

it doesn't matter what you wear as long as you are comfortable.

truckers_wife 23

even if a woman has a nice body, she doesn't need to wear a two piece out in public. I personally find it somewhat disgusting when women wear string bikinis in public. I'm not saying the human body is disgusting or inappropriate, I'm saying it's disgusting seeing women flaunt their bodies because they think they should. plus, when you're out in public wearing something that small, you're more likely to "fall out" and its humiliating, so one pieces (or two pieces that cover the whole body) are more practical.

askullnamedbilly 33

I can't help but notice that you appear to have no problem with men's swimwear, which happens to expose their entire naked torso.

truckers_wife 23

men's swimwear is basically a pair of shorts, the few people that wear anything less than that are also frowned upon by a lot of people... they also don't have as much to cover up, and they don't generally show off their bodies on purpose.

Respect101 17

Guys try to show off just as much as girls if not more. Just showing off is different for each male or female.

truckers_wife 23

either way, that wasn't exactly my point. I was just saying that could have been his opinion on swimsuits too, and it just came out the wrong way.

askullnamedbilly 33

Yup, it's basically a pair of shorts. With no shirt on top. Which shows off all the male vanity muscles like pectorals, abs and biceps. Men do expose, take care of and show off their bodies, just like women do. The difference is, they don't get any shit for doing so, even if they show just as much skin as their female counterparts. I for one have NEVER heard anyone complain that the guys at the waterpark should cover up and put their shirts back on. And that doesn't seem the least bit unfair to you?

truckers_wife 23

you didn't read my last comment, did you? I added that what I originally said could have been his opinion, and it just came out in an offensive way.

Just because someone wears a two piece doesn't mean that they are trying to show off their bodies. If they happen to be comfortable in a two piece then so be it.Anyway,a lot of one pieces are even more provocative than some two pieces.

truckers_wife 23

I give up, nobody seems to understand my thought process or listen to me when I try to explain it...

askullnamedbilly 33

Oh, I got your point just fine. You wrote that YOU PERSONALLY, not the man in the FML, find it disgusting when women 'flaunt their bodies', but act surprised when someone points out that technically speaking men's swimwear doesn't cover much more. You're giving women shit for their choice of clothing, but ignore that EVERYONE is half naked at a water park. I don't know what kind of problem you have with female bodies, but they're not actually naturally indecent or offensive. Why exactly does a woman's torso have to be covered in its entirety and a man's doesn't?

sandyleaann 4

Women are over half naked when in bikinis. Most cover less than underwear. But whatever. I find it interesting how many women want to not be judged for how they dress when 1) they purposely wear revealing clothes for attention. For instance, leggings and lowcut shirts, which you don't see guys wearing 2) women judge men on how they dress. For example, you can tell if a guy is a douchebag or full of himself or a player by how he dresses. How about women stop getting upset for how they are viewed and present themselves in a light they want to be seen in? Everyone judges each other by how they present themselves. There is a time and place for everything, but don't use your body to get (sexual) attention, then Get upset someone sees it as inappropriate.

askullnamedbilly 33

@sandyleaann You're missing the point of this particular argument a bit. It's not about people showing off their bodies and complaining about someone looking and drawing their conclusions, it's about calling one gender disgusting for showing skin at a water park while completely ignoring that the other gender is doing the same. truckers_wife appears to have no problem whatsoever with a guy in a tight speedo strutting his stuff and showing off his muscles, but does not apply the same values to women. Everyone is basically running around in underwear at the water park (and yes, a lot of people are showing off their bodies), but you apparently only have to cover up your entire torso if you have a ******.

sandyleaann 4

Men and women are different. Women literally use their bodies for attention all the time. That's not as common with guys. I do not see guys wearing leggings, booty shorts, yoga pants, low cut tops our middrifts. And those who do, girls make fun of! And last time I checked, most men's underwear don't go all the way down to their knees. I know guys who wear underwear UNDER their boxers. And he clearly stated in his comment a man wearing less than standard boxers are frowned upon, if you read what he said. He just didn't mention it the first time, because he was expressing his take on this situation, which had nothing to do with exposed men.

sandyleaann 4

I meant under their swim trunks, not boxers. And less than swim trucks. I don't know why i keep saying boxers Sorry

Your an idiot just because u wear a two piece doesnt mean u are trying to show off your body... Im pregnant and i wear a two piece when i swim simply cause 1.i like it cause its comfortable and 2. Because i cant fit a one piece in certain areas so i wear a two that way it can...

Just stop.. Ur getting nowhere with ur stupidity ...

Ok # 62 Before you bitch some-one out...maybe check their profile or their user name because your bitching out a woman for wanting her peers to cover up. Your pretty much calling her sexist when we were talking about how women dress. A woman can't be sexist towards women because they are the same sex.

askullnamedbilly 33

@Emocuttergirl I really hope you're trolling, but just in case you're not: women can be sexist (towards their own sex AND men), people of color can be racist, LGBTQ people can be ****- and transphobic. Basically, everybody is capable of being a ******* dick. You're welcome.

@#124, Truer words have never been spoken. I've seen mono-phobia, trans-phobia, and heterophobia in the LGBT community. I've heard black guys go on racist rants saying "Spic" this and "Spic" that. It happens more toward woman, and minorities, but it isn't exclusive to the "privileged" class.

Is it just me, or did anyone else want to punch 91 after his comment?

sandyleaann 4

137, punch me in the face. I'm a female. (: stupid feminist think equality is pretending everyone is the same. But we aren't. That's just truth. There's a reason you don't see shirtless men in stores, malls, theatres, schools but you do see low cut tops, short shorts and leggings. Yes, some men do dress for attention, but not in the same waymost the time. I usually see guys in maybe a fitted shirt, which would be comparable to a female in a fitted top, both are deemed socially acceptable. A man in short shorts or leggings in comparable to a guy in short shorts or leggings, in which the guys clothing Would be socially unacceptable. There are certain social standards for both genders Doesn't mean you have to follow them, but don't think women are the only ones who people don't like What they wear. The thing is women and men are different from each other. Doesn't mean one is better, just that we are different. Women have this idea they should be allowed to do whatever they want and have no consequences. That's not equality. All I'm saying is if someone thinks a woman should cover up, who cares? It's not taking your right to dress how you want away. People complain all the time about guys sagging their pants and showing their underwear, but that doesn't stop anyone from doing it. I personally don't care what any one wears. Walk around naked if you want. But that doesn't mean every person has to approve. stop bashing a man who thinks it's inappropriate and twisting his words. He isn't sexist. He just prefers women to cover up. Big pretty sure everyone has a preference for how the gender of their choice dresses.

rocker_chick23 27

OP, he was being a douchebag. There is nothing wrong with wearing a one piece. I think they are a lot more comfortable than a bikini.

Men need to understand that not all women are super models and the few that are super models don't want douche bags like them

91hayek 31

umm excuse me, I'll date douche bags if I want to. :P

91hayek 31

because by the construction of your sentence, that would imply that I am a supermodel. I work in reverse you see?

91hayek 31

Oh no! Now you have to change what you wanted to wear and feel comfortable with because some idiot may or may not have called you fat indirectly! Now you have to feel bad about not wearing dental floss to cover you up! Calm down OP, just keep rocking that one piece and have fun at the waterpark.

You should be like, and thank you for keeping your sarcastic comments to yourself!
