Today, while I was studying for an exam, my younger sister came home extremely drunk and threw up all over herself and her bed. I later got grounded for not setting a better example. FML

Studying? Getting an education? Caring about grades? How dare you corrupt your sister like that!

Did you at least offer her pancakes? jerk.

In thus case, the only better example I can think of rite now would be to teach your sis HOW to get drunk and *not* throw up all over herself and her bed. You should've been there to hold her hair. Seriously tho, sorry op, that blows, fyl

"You're grounded because someone needs to be held responsible for this, and it isn't going to be us" Thanks Mom and Dad. I don't agree with this style of parenting at all.

If your sister is old enough to drink (18 or 21) and you're older than her: How are you still getting grounded??? (Why you still live with your parents is a separate question...)

My guess is the sister isn't old enough to drink.

The sister probably isn't of drinking age. Op probably still lives at home because she is going to school.

:( sorry op. you don't deserve that. Good luck on your exam, too..

Shame on you for studying for your exam. Should of gone out and shown her how your supposed to get truly drunk. Tsk tsk. Awful role model.

Do whatever the hell you want for the grounding period, and when your parental units lose their shit tell them they should have been better parents.

So that's like a free pass to get monster truck drunk from ur parents.. !! Remember drink lots of water before ... Lol

Your parents are idiots. You're doing the right thing and not responsible for your sis, THEY ARE!
