Today, while talking to my boyfriend, he got upset and accused me of making up words to make him feel stupid. All because I used the word "vapid." FML

Well it's not a common word. I know what it means, but cannot think of a time when I, or someone else has used it in conversation. Maybe next time, don't be so pretentious and use words that serve only to make yourself feel smart. Seriously, who says vapid?

Seriously, who accuses their significant other -- someone they're supposed to love and trust -- of making words up, just because they'd never heard it before? My coworker, who i might add is only less then a year younger then me, doesnt know what vendictive or lathergic means, its really irritating considering ive said those two words to her multiple times and told her what they mean each time, so i feel your pain op

Sarcasm doesnt count in text because sarcasm is a tone of voice, u cant hear that in text "my friend" (that last bit is sarcasm)

Sarcasm isn't a tone of voice lol it's the use of words that's contextual meaning is opposite of it real meaning... And hahaha it doesn't count in text?
