Today, while waiting in line at Gamestop, another customer and the cashier started chatting about how Pokémon is for kids, and anyone over 10 who's into it is weird. Embarrassed, I put the new Pokémon game back on the shelf and snuck out of the store. FML

You deserve it OP! Why the hell do you care what they think? It's your money and your life. Now you have no new pokemon game to play!

SCEW THEM. I am 14 years old and i proudly acclaim that I play pokemon and have infact Caught e'm All So if anyone says else wise they can just go piss off. Besides when kids are younger than 10 they dont even know how to play the game properly

Screw what they think. If u like it get it.

Soo did ppl decide to change they're pics once they read this to pokemon themed pics? Or did the pokenerds decide to comment on this just cuz it talked about pokemon? (nothing against pokenerds! I love pokemon!)

Seriously pathetic for allowing some people talking to keep you from getting a game... Sad...

U should of brought just to prove u r not influenced by others n r independent when u make ur decisions

The thing I don't get about video games is why people discuss maturity over it? I mean like when you look at this topic, for example, you see a lot of people make discussions about "10 years old" and how they could not understand or mishandle the game. Why? After you play a game, nothing happens. You just wasted 15-20 minutes playing it, and my guess is that due to this realization of time wasted and better spent, people then become defensive and they talk about others level of maturity as a way to validate their game playing. If you play video games, then why can't it be for fun? Why must topics of "maturity" be brought up? What reasons behind this new phenomenon? I remember back in the days of NES when things were either "cool" or "awesome." Now games are like, "Nuh-uh, my pokedeck is better than yours, I'm so mature, I got them all and you're 10 years old, heheheheh."

but is you never buy the game then you'll never CATCH 'EM ALL! catch your pokémon young trainer

lol My mother's 54 and likes playing Pokemon. I'm 21 and I still enjoy playing it. Take it away from the crappy show and it's just an RPG game. Why does fun always have to have an age limit? Why can't you have fun when you're an 'adult'? And why do people assume that because you like something that you jack-off to it? Do you losers jack-off to Family Guy and shit like that?
