Today, while waiting in line at Gamestop, another customer and the cashier started chatting about how Pokémon is for kids, and anyone over 10 who's into it is weird. Embarrassed, I put the new Pokémon game back on the shelf and snuck out of the store. FML

If having a community of Hundreds, probably thousands people who trade and battle with people online is weird then every game is weird for every reason. Pokemon is amazing :3 sheer force Nidoking FTW!

I work at a Gamestop, and I'd say about half of the people who purchase Pokemon are in their 20s. It started when we were kids, it's OUR generation's nostalgia. Those two naysayers can go **** themselves.

In fact, a little kid came into my Gamestop and was looking at the newest Pokedex book. I looked right at him and said "When I was your age, there were only 151 Pokemon." He looked at me like "WTF, lady?"

You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. Put that game on the counter and tell them they can suck your pokeballs

why the **** wud you do that D: !!! IM 19 & I STILL PLAY POKEMON & IM DAMN PROUD OF IT ._."

I understand how you would be embarrassed if the cashier were to see you getting the game when he just dissed it, but just say, "Why should I care what you think? " or something of the sort.

Psh. Pokemon is like classic Disney movies. You're NEVER too old, and liking it doesn't make you weird. Hell, I'm almost 21 and I'm into everything from Pokemon to yugioh to freaking LEARNING. I am a nerd and damn proud. Accept yourself for who you are, OP. if you do that, nothing anyone else can say or do with ever bother you.

Should've said 'I'm buying this for my 8 yr old son. It's his birthday in 3 days' DUUH!!
