Harvard? One of my neighbors is going there and I know that her GPA is like a 3.0 or something. I also graduated from high school (in 2010) with a girl who should be graduating or already has graduated from Harvard. Harvard only takes really good people who are like straight A+ students. With a 1.5 GPA, I'm surprised his daughter graduated. At my high school, if your GPA was that low, you wouldn't have made it out of high school. She should go to a community college, first, to work on her grades and GPA. I went to a community college, to work on my grades which were in the B & C range and then got accepted to a university, in my town, after I graduated from community college.
It's got to be better than a 3.0 if she's going to Harvard...just saying. 3.0 isn't THAT impressive.

Maybe she meant the 3.0 was while at Harvard. But you're right, a 3.0 isn't impressive at all. However, didn't Bush go to Yale and had a 3.0 or less GPA??? Sometimes if you know the right people you can get into any uni. Just beat them over the head with a sack full of money.

This is the culture of mediocrity where everyone deserves Harvard, even the terrible student. Everyone on the team gets a trophy for participation even if they lose, just in case one of them feels sad for losing. EVERYONE loses now and them. The ones who pick themselves up are the winners.
