I'm wondering how needing to gain weight correlates to height... As a fellow short person, if there's a magic system where if we gain pounds we get taller, let a girl know and I'm jumping on some snack foods to get to 5'2.
B-b-but... you're the perfect height for us short guys!
Alot of times people are never happy with how they are trust me being tall isnt all its cracked up to be. You cant wear high heels unless you want to look like godzilla, pants never seem to fit you write and guys fear you when your their dance partners :! Yay for being 5'7 (nearing to 5'8)
Gaining weight can encourage height growth in pre-teens and teens. Height is predominately determined by genes but if you eat a healthy vitamin, nutrient and protein diet while growing it can help you to grow taller. At that age we eat a lot to assist growth and in some people it looks like excess weight before a growth spurt hits. I should know my specialist tried to help me to put on weight all the time! But I have Crohn's disease and stopped at 4"11 so failed haha. Would be awesome as you say now if there was a correlation as an adult! :)
#55 Your grammar needs work.
Petite is beautiful!
I feel you ; I'm just under 5'1. My dad thought I would keep growing till I reached 5'5 and become the tallest woman in our family. My sister still holds that title at 5'3.
My dad thought i would be 5'8 ....... I decided to stop at 5'3.
I'm a 5'9 male, not that tall either. I feel you. On the other hand, short and light girls have excellent opportunities for more bedroom fun!
Your mother is at least 50% of the reason you are still short. Throw that one at her then explain genetics.
#50, also, not only is it Mom's fault she got short genes, she can also blame her Mom for her diet... "Maybe if you'd fed me right as a kid I wouldn't be stunted! You should have been capable of fixing a healthy meal but NO. It's YOUR FAULT!" Sometimes turning the tables on them is the only way to make them SHUT UP when they are illogical and mean :P
I grew 2 inches in my twenties so there's still hope for you!
