Today, I was at orientation for my new job. There were only 6 other people in the training. Throughout the whole entire training, I kept smelling cat piss and moved further away from the other person, only to later get in my car and realize my cat had peed in my purse. FML

Today, while at the gym, I noticed a foul smell while on elliptical machine. I figured it was the little old lady on the machine next to me. It was so bad I had to leave. When I got in my truck, I realized the smell had followed me. It was me. My cat had pissed on my workout clothes. FML

Today, I was in class and noticed that it smelled strongly of cat urine. I smelled my shoulder and realized that my cat had peed on my sweater. I had six hours of classes left, and the smell had permeated my shirt. FML

Today, during my shift as a vet nurse, I picked up a gorgeous cat for cuddles, only to discover it was covered with pee. And now I am too. I still have 4 hours of my shift. FML

Today, I was drying off with a towel after coming in from outside. I noticed that the bathroom smelled like cat pee, so I sniffed all around to find out where my cat peed. Turns out, he peed on the towel that I was drying myself off with. FML

Today, I woke up and stepped on a wet jacket. After smelling what it was, it turns out the cat had peed all over my laundry, especially the waterproof jacket, and after attempting to clean it up, it dripped everywhere and the entire apartment now smells like cat piss. FML

Today, my cat peed on my bra. I didn't realize this until after I arrived at work for my 12-hour shift. Now I'm trying to wash my bra out in the sink and stuff paper towels down it to soak up the moisture. Only 10 more hours to go, and the smell of cat pee is still lingering. FML

Today, I came home after a short trip. Walking through the door, an overpowering smell indicated that in my rush to leave I'd forgotten to bring the cat litter tray indoors. The place was covered in cat urine. It was as if I'd created a cycling ecosystem of evaporated urine turning into urine rain-clouds. FML

This has happened to me before. I went out, smelt something funny, only to realize when I got home that it was cat piss and it was from my clothes.

Yep. It sucks. Happened to me when my cat got mad and peed on my boots. I couldn't get the smell out and had to throw them away. Cats are jerks.

I've had that problem before cats are jerks, soft and cuddly yes, but jerks. just hope no one noticed or traced it to you and scrub your purse it's what I do

This happened to my cousin at a store. Didn't realize until she got to the register and had to pay only to stick her hand into a wet and rather odiferous purse. I think the person whom had the roommate who "sterilized" her menstrual cup in their shared coffee pot had a grosser thing happen to them though. Generally speaking, cats can be assholes. You'd hope a roomate and fellow human being would have better common sense. In any case, regarding OP's situation, hopefully the other trainees didn't realized OP was the source and just grabbing a new purse remedied this!

Has your cat been talking to my cats? One of my cats recently peed in my purse. Yes, I washed it. Yes, it still smells. I need new cats. And a new purse. But mostly new cats.

Have they been acting strange otherwise? Peeing on things might be a sign of a medical problem. Or they are stressed and/or mad at you for something :P
