Embracing life in a meaningful way tends to put things into perspective. Your next donut should not be such a big deal. I suggest that you think about the kind of person you want to be and then set out to become that person. Just acting on that is meaningful. Do that for a year and then see how you feel about donuts. The new you probably won't even eat donuts.
