Vamos arriba!

By rog3rli - This FML is from back in 2010 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I realized that even though I've taken three years of Spanish, the only words and phrases I can remember are from Dora the Explorer. FML

I only know.. Donde es mi tequila. From bumblebee man on The Simpsons. Also if there's accents or whatever, I'm on my iPod ;3

you can just place your finger on the letter you want and it comes up. ŵéèêëëęėēŷÿûüùúūîïìíįīôöòóõœøōàáâäæãåāßśšłźżžçćčñń

that's not necessarily your fault, maybe your teachers just suck

you must have a little girl or niece. lol

This isn't an fml. It takes a lot longer than 3 years to learn a language and you never really learn unless you live in a Hispanic country or area where you only speak the language. I had my degree in foreign languages and still wasn't truly fluent til I met my Chilean hubby and then lived in Spain.

You can't say that it's not possible to be fluent in a language unless you live in a country or area where that's the only language spoken. I'm fluent in English and I've never lived nor even visited any English speaking countries, it's entirely possible to learn a language without moving.

That's not true at all. I started Spanish only in August last year and I know about 8 tenses and am fairly fluent. And I live in Singapore. I guess some people just aren't good at learning languages, and maybe OP's teacher sucks.

boo hoo. it's not bad. my sister took three and can't remeber anything but bits of the basics. big freaking deal .

donde esta muy bien en el tambien no sotros pardonaos que los e nos! ik spanish, beeee jealous!!!!

Omg that's where I learned my spanish from! Sadly I'm not kidding
