Today, I was sitting at my computer, listening and singing along to some music. I started singing louder, thinking that I was pretty good. Just then, my mom comes barging through the door in a frenzy saying, "Are you all right? Are you hurt?" FML

Today, there was a knock on my apartment door. It was the man from next-door, who sarcastically asked if I was alright, because he said he heard me screaming in agony. I was singing. FML

Today, I was singing in the shower, not realising the window was open. When I got out, the neighbours were at the front door, loudly arguing with my mother. They were complaining about my awful singing. FML

Today, I told my mom that I want to try out for a singing competition on TV, so I might be able to kick off my musical career. She convinced me to sing a song for her, so I did. Mid-way through, she lost it, burst into laughter, and told me to stay in school. FML

Lol! Well, at least it was only your mom who heard. It´s okay, not everybody is a good singer. And besides, maybe she heard you from 3 floors down or something and couldn´t really tell.

as a musician i cant understand why ur mom was so freaked....i mean anyone can definitely tell horrible singing and someone screaming in pain apart and i sounded just fkin terrible when i started but somehow it got better lawl and no more family members yelling "SHUT THE **** UP!" everytime i sing
