#21: Last time I checked, he's not the loser if she's the boring one. She is the loser. He is the more popular person, yet also happens to be a stuck-up jerk. I will admit- he seems like an asshole. He's not a LOSER, though, obviously. A loser means somebody who isn't cool, popular, goodlooking, successful in life, etc. This guy clearly is. So get it right! ============================== To the OP: Hurtful words can sting, but that doesn't mean that just because it was offensive to you, that the insult or the "hurtful fact/opinion" is automatically NOT true. Hurtful things sometimes ARE true. In fact, the more they sting, the more likely it is that the insult IS true, because it struck home and you felt more offended because you knew deep down they were (in a way, at least) correct! So I would say that there is a pretty good chance that your fiance (although pretty mean and definitely too blunt) was correct. ARE you boring?? THAT is the million dollar question. If you are boring, I would advise improving yourself, instead of simply "finding somebody better". Obviously, he still likes you, aside from the fact that you are, well, BORING. And you clearly like him... at least ya did up until now, if you don't STILL like him. The only thing he did wrong really, was point out how boring you were to him all these years. And let's face it, which is worse- living with somebody boring for years on end... or simply somebody telling you that you're boring? It's kind of like saying "which is worse- actually dying, or somebody telling you to go die?". Like him saying you were boring was bad... but him having to live with somebody boring probably was worse in the long run, for him. So deal with the insult and try to fix it. Let me repeat: FIX IT! Work on the problem. Be more exciting, have more spontaneous things, be more talkative, flirty, sexy, bubbly, and adventurous, ask him to go skydiving or rock climbing or whatever he likes to do, get really into sports games, talk with him ALL THE TIME about WHATEVER, always be smiling (as opposed to a mellow, boring slight frown), and GIVE HIM LOTS OF SEX!!! if you do that, he will want you back. and EVEN IF YOU LEAVE HIM- IF YOU DON'T DO WHAT I JUST TOLD YOU TO, NO GUY WORTH HAVING IS GOING TO WANT YOU! BECAUSE CONTRARY TO WHAT PEOPLE ON HERE SAY, HIGHER-CLASS PEOPLE WANT TO DATE HIGHER-CLASS PEOPLE! THUS, IF YOU WANT TO FIND SOMEBODY WHO IS REALLY VALUABLE, HE IS GOING TO WANT YOU TO BE REALLY VALUABLE- AND HE WILL FIND YOU MORE VALUABLE IF YOU ARE FUN AND EXCITING, AS OPPOSED TO BORING! I know all girls wish that they could simply not try, and have some brad pitt-looking, really fun and exciting guy "accept them for who they are" without them making minor changes to themselves so they are more fun to be around. sorry babe, but if you're so selfish you don't want to change to maybe make yourself more enjoyable for your fiance... along with the fact that you're not desirable in general...you won't GET a good guy like that!
