Today, my fiancé seriously used the war in Israel/Palestine to call off our engagement. We had different opinions, so he asked for the ring back and stormed out of our apartment. Turns out, he used this as a ticket out because he was seeing someone else and didn’t “wanna hurt my feelings” by confessing. FML

Today, I found out my ex just got engaged to a girl he met 3 months ago, shortly before he ended our 5 year relationship. His reason for breaking up was that he didn't believe in marriage and couldn't be with someone who wanted to get married. Right. FML

don't marry the jackass...i can't say i'm always 100% interested in my boyfriend i get bored at times but it doesn't mean i'm looking for someone else. especially if you're engaged..you are definitely not suppose to be looking for someone else. why would he even ask you to marry him then?
