Today, my fiancé seriously used the war in Israel/Palestine to call off our engagement. We had different opinions, so he asked for the ring back and stormed out of our apartment. Turns out, he used this as a ticket out because he was seeing someone else and didn’t “wanna hurt my feelings” by confessing. FML

Today, I found out my ex just got engaged to a girl he met 3 months ago, shortly before he ended our 5 year relationship. His reason for breaking up was that he didn't believe in marriage and couldn't be with someone who wanted to get married. Right. FML

#33 you really shouldn't be giving advice There are much better ways to tell the person you "love" that it's time to spice up the relationship. It's rarely just one person's fault in a relationship. If he wasn't so selfish to think it was all about him and his happiness he would have talked to her. You just don't do that to someone you love. And besides, who knows maybe he's just as boring! No one else wanted to be with him! And BTW it doesn't have to be true to hurt, if the one you love (clearly, she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him) rejects you, it hurts, period. To the writer: The fact of the matter is he doesn't deserve you! Maybe he just isn't ready to be married. Clearly he has some growing up to do. Maybe it just isn't meant to be. You got hurt but you can get over it eventually, things tend to work out for the best! If you do give him a chance, have some dignity, he must know not only will nothing better come along, he's lucky to have you, you should be treasured!! Either way I wish you the best!! :)

LUCKILY, now we know the kind of man he is. I feel a Jon and Kate Minus Eight coming on! Allthough, there's probally not 8 kids. I hope, at least... But on the bright side, you DIDN'T have 8 kids.
