The amount of times a similar situation has happened to me as well hurts me on a deeply personal level.
His loss OP not yours if he's willing to throw away 7 years of friendship for a relationship that might not even last long and no matter how desperate he was for one he wasn't really your friend than girlfriends/boyfriends come and go but true friends are like family they stay for a lifetime no matter what he'll be back sooner or later begging for your forgiveness
Well, when that crazy chick eventually dumps HIM, then guess who's going to be crawling back to you?
i completely understand. i have a friend who i've been friends with since elementary school but he recently stopped talking to me because his girlfriend got super jealous. I really am sorry that happened OP. i hope everything eventually works out in the end.
that's happened to me before too. I'm so sorry. it sucks :/
Whatever happened to bros before hoes?
Don't worry op relationships like that doesn't last
I get that he ditched OP but for all we know, that friend could be one of the best people any of us would ever meet. Sounds like the girlfriend is trying to isolate him from OP. (idk if OP and the gf had a bad experience)
I've got friends like that, they are just stupid, better to find out now than later
try to speak with her
