Weird flex, but okay…

Today, I went through a fast-food drive-thru and gave my order in a perfect British accent for fun. When I got to the window, the cashier handed me my food and said, "I love your accent!" Caught off guard, I replied, "Oh, thanks a lot!" in my normal New Jersey accent. The confusion on her face was priceless. FML

1) No such thing as a "British accent". There are tons of them. And 2) The only American that's ever come close to a passable ENGLISH accent is James Marsters as Spike in 'Buffy', so the idea that you did a perfect accent from any part of Britain is laughable. I guess that means the FML should be your belief that you can succeed at anything.
