Surely you must recognize that your complaining about specific employees at work just raises the “backstabbing” at work. And of course anything you say to a coworker or customer has a significant chance of getting back to your boss. It’s much better unless there is a problem that prevents you from doing your job to talk to boss about tasks, policies and procedures instead of complaining about individuals… Work is not a collection of friends having a good time together no matter what a TV show presents. You need to separate personalities from work tasks and concentrate on what it takes to do your job effectively. The more you complain about coworkers, or management’s decisions, the greater the risk that boss will come to see you as difficult to work with - And that is definitively not career enhancing.
Sounds like my job. It’s also the main reason I learned years ago, work is not a place to make friends and keep your mouth shut.
This sounds like the faculty and staff at the local high school
Don't be a snitch. Go along to get along. Don't do anything and you won't make a mistake.
Current working situation is similar. Giving my 2 weeks tomorrow and getting a new job with a 50% pay bump.
