Sue. But pad your case. Tell em you had all kinds of stuff in your locker that they now owe you for. Like your grandmas wedding ring (no reciept). A really expensive watch. Your season tickets to what ever... - or - use the time you now have to stalk the bastard ex-boss that did this to you. His car is easy to find because his parking spot has his name on it. Follow him home. Set off his home alarm at 3 am a few days a week. Put old food around his house so rodents will make it their home. Only you will know when you got 'even'.
Completely fake... obviously. Can't believe so many people aren't picking up on the fact that the OP wouldn't know what was on the note if the note was on the box that was supposedly donated.
It could be fake, but somebody could have *told* him the note was there and what it said, or maybe the box disappeared but the note was still there - it's not that far fetched. If real, OP shouldn't bother to sue them, he should just burn the building down.
I can't believe I didn't pick up on the fact that the OP mentioned anything about a note on a BOX!
lol well played sir
People don't throw other people's stuff on the kerb for no reason... what did you OP? ;)
ouch.
That was rude, you know.
There are only 24 hours in the day for the next time you want to sound arrogant and special
A 96 hour work DAY? Impossible considering there are only 24 hours in a day. A 96 hour work week, I can understand. So unless your dad has more hours in the day than the rest of us, I think you might want to correct your typo. And if your dad actually does have more than 24 hours in a day, it would be nice to know how he does, I could use a few more hours a day to get everything done.
@59: It's possible to have a 96 hour "workday" if you work back to back shifts. Some doctors have this happen to them under special circumstances like no one is available to cover their expertise at a hospital and I'm sure other disciplines can have this happen as well.

Sounds unprofessional. :/
#6 and 7- he found out he was fired because they put his stuff by the door. reason for termination is yet unknown. OP- that sounds very unprofessional of your job. might even violate some business laws. not a lawyer but I would look into it just in case.
