Seriously!! The hell kind of sister DOES that? D:< I mean, it was a bitch move on mom's part, but the sister should have had the decency to say, "No, that's my sister's ex, I don't think I'll go there." OP, FYL. And personally, I wouldn't go to the wedding. I would, however, tell them to kiss my ass.
