You OK dude?

By Casper - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, a flight attendant asked me if I was airsick because I looked really pale. I told her that was my normal complexion but thanked her for her concern. She insisted, "No, that can't be normal." FML

A doctor once told me that I was sickly pale and probably had something seriously wrong with me. She wouldn't believe me when I told her it was my natural skin tone. My neighbor also once told my mom that she thought I had leukemia. She didn't understand that I bruise easily just because I'm pale.

I prefer my skin without sun damage, thank you. (I'm ludicrously pale as well)

I feel you. I'm really pale as well. One time I fainted and everyone was so concerned because "I wasn't getting my color back". I'm naturally VERY pale. But hey, it's the new tan, and when all us pale people are old, we'll look better !

Ouch, she's telling you what is normal for you.

I love how most of the commenters have usernames referring to their paleness xD 'polarbear, ghostly, pinkpikachu' XDD lmao. I'm lucky, I'm 1/2 Brazilian, and I have a nice coffee-toned complexionn (:

I'm half Brazilian too, but I'm still pale as f-ck

I feel your pain! Last year at school, my least favourite class, half the time my teacher asked if I was okay. I'm just really pale and half fall asleep during that class xD Nobody pale should feel concious about their skin. But to anyone who does, try a bit of blusher, it works wonders (=

my dad told me today that I was so pale that I put on some white clothes and went out side I'd blend in with the snow I'm really pale also but what normaly saves me from those kind if comments it the fact that I have very rosy cheeks. so maybe try some blush...just a little. but I am aniemic (spelling?) there are people at school who will pinch me in the morning to see if I have a bruise by the end of the day. it freaks people out.

number 19 yes they do need sun for certain vitamis but you'd be surprised at how little time they need for the daily recomemded vitamin D intake you get from the sun: dark skin: 15 minutes medium skin : 10 minutes fair skin: 5 minutes any longer in the sun and you need sun block.

Well obviously someone named Casper would have a translucent complexion.
