You what now?

Today, I had a seizure. My dad responded by saying it always happens with my disease. I never have had a disease. Now I have to wait for my dad to stop yelling at my mom about not telling me, so I can ask what I have in the first place. FML

That is just awful. My parents did the same thing to me. Apparently I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I was 5. I found out when I was 21 after switching doctors and he was going over my health records with me. It was kind of depressing.

have you been gluten free since age 5? I was diagnosed with coeliac at 17 after being very ill for a long time

it's epilepsy and i have it. some ppl get seizures everyday and others are able to control it. i wish your parents would have told you because that's not right to not tell you. you need to see a doctor because medication can definitely help with seizures for some people! you better not be 16 yet or you could get hurt driving! i can't drive cuz i still get spells sometimes and i'm 24. i wish you the best of luck op and you set those parents straight!
