With a name like Snurkles, she shouldn't expect a promotion...
bosses look down the corporate tree and see shit. the employees look up and see nothing but assholes.
Liar liar pants on fire.
Set her pants on fire.
I guess I can't beat 2's comment. His lies will catch up to him eventually though
OP's boss is a Female.
She just admitted she was a liar...so she is a truth teller?
I was just about to head off to bed...and then I read your comment. Thank you, #7, for the paradox that is going to mess with my head for the rest of the night.
Stop trying to break the internet!
Sorry if I kept you up all night...
Have your child wish she cant lie for a whole day :p
That movie is funny as hell! And that's no lie!!
It sounds like you need a job where your supervisors have something called integrity.
Next time she verbally gives you a big or important task just ignore it and don't do it. When she confronts you about it just say "oh, I thought you were lying about that too".
Then when she fires you just show up again the next day and say "oh I thought you were lying about that as well." Then get escorted out, go home and cry...as your life goes down into a spiral of self loathing and dread.
23, Everybody changes/loses job once in a while, don't be dramatic about it.
It's called a dry sense of humor.
Just in case you decide to take the advice would be a good idea to have a backup job before you pull something like that off with your @$$hole of a boss... :)
I also thought the next time the boss calls OP into work on an offday, he should agree and not show up. Then tell her upon his next day, "Oh you should know by now that I'm a liar. It's not my fault you believe everything I say."
